Our Story

Blue Dot Media was founded on the belief that we can use what we are good at to make the world a better place. We pride ourselves on being uniquely small and nimble. Many agencies want to see growth at any cost, but that's not how we run our business. Our motto is better, not bigger.

On the production side, we hire and work alongside industry leading professionals including cinematographers, audio engineers, assistants and professional editors where required to help bring your projects to life.

This flexibility allows us to approach each project uniquely, and hire the best talent for the job (without any unnecessary overhead). This results in us being able to intimately work with each client to dive deep and produce better videos, delivered quickly, that are aligned with your business strategy.

‍Why “Blue Dot”?

When you look at a photo of our universe, you'll notice a little Blue Dot. That dot is our beloved Earth. Everything we know, everyone we love and care about, everything that has ever existed has existed on that Blue Dot.

We want to make our world (our Blue Dot) a better place. We truly believe that every business wants to help the world, even if it's one person at a time. And by helping businesses help their customers, we in turn get to impact more lives and work towards our goal of making our Blue Dot a better place for people.

We didn't start a video production company because we just like making videos.

We started a video production company because of the immense power video has to transform a brand. We learned that what we are good at is incredibly beneficial to the people we look up to and are inspired by: business owners.

‍Video is one of the most effective business tools on the planet, as long as it's combined with the proper strategy and execution.

Our Mission

As founders, we've found that we're most fulfilled when working with a limited number of clients, instead of juggling two dozen projects at a time. We prefer working intimately with our clients so that we can produce the absolute best results possible for their business. We love working long-term with our clients to figure out exactly what the business needs as time develops, fine-tune the strategy, and continue to adapt to changes in the business needs for sustained growth.

This means going deep with each client to learn exactly how their business functions, including understanding their sales funnel, unique value propositions, target market and more.

There are an infinite number of ways videos could be utilized, but only a few of them are going to make you money. We want to find the money making levers in your business. We will work with you to uncover the biggest opportunities that video can be utilized to help grow your business.
